Rooted in the historical Christian faith, relevant to 21st century living.

We are a new Christian church in the Putnam County, NY area.  Our greatest desire is to see ordinary people discover the extraordinary love of Jesus Christ.  We are convinced that church is meant to be so much more than an empty ritual that doesn't relate to real life.  Instead we find that God longs for a relationship with us!  He cares deeply and speaks directly into the hopes, struggles, and challenges we all face everyday. 

Lakeview is a community that intentionally emphasizes relationships instead of rules, grace instead of guilt, & authenticity instead of duplicity.  We want people to know Jesus Christ, to consider His outrageous claims, discover His radical grace, and grow into fully devoted followers.

Lakeview Community Church meets at 10:30 am in Casey Hall at Carmel High School. 

• The worship style is contemporary and casual. 
  
• Nursery care is available during the service for infants - 36 months.
• Children's Sunday School Classes meet during the second part of the service:
• Pre-K / Kindergarten Class
  
• Elementary Class- 1st- 6th grade.
  

Casual, friendly atmosphere - Lakeview is a come-as-you are church!  Feel free to pour a cup of coffee, relax, and check things out at your own pace without worrying about having anything pushed at you.

Children-Friendly - Lakeview strives to provide fun programs in a safe and positive environment that help children learn about the love of Jesus Christ and the foundations of the Christian faith. 

Contemporary Music - The music at Lakeview is contemporary and creative- directing the focus God-ward through a combination of lively expressions of faith and calm responses of peace found in Jesus.

Credible Messages- The teaching at Lakeview is biblical and engaging- connecting timeless truth to the timely issues we all face.
