Small Groups

Small Groups are the primary way our church becomes like a family.  It's the place where friendships can form and people can get connected and cared for in a way that can't happen during a Sunday morning worship service.

Small Groups are intentional gatherings of around 5 to 12 people who come together on a regular basis to connect to God, each other, and the world around them.

Although there are many different types of small groups, every group shares 3 common goals:
1. Maturity - Small groups are designed to help facilitate life change.  The goal is not just to transfer information - it's to apply God's truth to life in a personal and practical way.

2. Mutual Care - Small groups are also the primary setting for individual needs to be made known and people to get cared for.  Even at a church our size, people's needs can slip through the cracks.  A small group is a place to find some friends and be a friend to a few others when times of need arise.

3. Mission - Small groups are an ideal way for people to organize to accomplish the mission of our church.  Every small group is encouraged to discover and maintain an intentional & unique outreach focus.

Small Groups typically run for 8 weeks and are offered 3 times a year (fall, spring, & summer). The focus of each group will vary to meet particular needs, such as parenting, Bible study, men, women, etc.  Small Groups are a great way to meet new friends, grow in your relationship with God and make a difference.
